Palmetto Cremation Service owns its crematory. This allows us to make the promise that your family member will never leave our direct care. We control the process in it's entirety.
Many funeral homes do not own their own crematory which makes them rely on other partners or businesses to perform the cremation. This puts your family member in the care of another business which has it's own processes and standards that the funeral home has no direct control over.
Owning the crematory allows us to provide a complete continuum of care of your loved one.
Direct Cremation Package - $1,245
Our direct cremation package includes:
Bringing the body into our care (within 50 miles)
Shelter and housing of the deceased until the cremation takes place
Securing all of the necessary documents
Consultation with the family
Cremation container and temporary urn*
